Profitable Trading with a Full-Time Job

My most profitable ever trade was holding a position on the weekly chart for a year. I can't bring myself to hold for that long anymore and even the daily chart gives me 'ants in my pants' but I agree totally with your advice. Trading intraday charts like 5 minute or lower is for people with lots of experience. It does depend on your personality and of course you need lots of trades to gain experience, but I think most people are much better off swing trading (for example the 4-hour chart) and doing it part-time so you don't screen-watch and second-guess yourself. Besides, most people fail at trading so it is smart to do it part-time anyway!
