I use Final Cut Pro for editing. It is a one time fee :) I paid for in 2013 and have never had to pay for an update since. 👍

Thanks a lot ! I am new to the "back to lifetime license" movement, I thought the pandemic had wiped it out completely, so I am very happy to see it's actually alive and beginning to thrive in contrast to many competitors charging an arm & a leg in monthly subscriptions. How do the upgrades on appsumo work ? Let's say one has already paid for the 1st tier of SendFox, now if they wanna level up, do they pay the full price of the next tier, or only the difference in price for the next tier please ?

Hey Boonified, glad you found the channel! As for upgradinging -- Once your tier one license is activated, you will see the option to upgrade/downgrade it in the Redemption Instructions on AppSumo. You'll only pay the different between your current tier and your new tier.

I am binge-watching your channel, appreciative of all your honesty & looking out for consumers :) I have another slightly off-topic question - I wonder what do You think about automatic addition of new newsletter subscribers into one's CRM - what are the benefits of that, if any, when one doesn't do sales calls & product demos as a therapist ? I wonder whether it's worth creating an integration just for that ? Penny for your thoughts.

Def considering… any idea if GIFs will work in image uploads and I didn’t see how we can create for clients and embedding in their gmail signatures without needing their login info

Yes, you can add GIFs to your emails. No agency/client model here. Just get an account for each client. Usually marketing emails don't have personal email signatures... so no way to import that from Gmail.

I am curiois, can I use this to run a lead gen campaign and the emails leads that I'm going tp collect later will go directly to my domain email? Also, is there a link that I can use to insert in another email that it will direct me to a form?

Is it better to buy several licenses of Sendfox for each of your multiple businesses so you can customize them individually, or can you manage all your businesses under one Sendfox account?

No way to have sub/multi accounts in SendFox. That would be a great addition.

I have three businesses, and I thought this would be a great economic option while I build my list as I launch them. I was having trouble conceptualizing this, so it seems I should buy three licenses-one for each business. But as an AppSumo Premium member, do I "only" get one license for free?

Thanks @jfricard... You're correct that you only get one free account with AppSumo plus. I mean I guess you could technically run multiple businesses off of one account, but it wouldn't be super clean. You'd need to add all your domains to the single account and then make sure you choose the correct "from" address when sending. You'd keep your contacts organized by list. Where or not I'd do it this way would depend on how related the businesses are and how bootstrapped I was :)

@@dave-swift Thanks for the reply. Although two of my businesses are interrelated (both language teaching/tutoring) the other one is not. That said, I think buying a license for Sendfox depends on how big your organization/customer base will be. The Empire Add On enables a lot more features as you noted. Good stuff!

No, it’s meant for marketing emails. People that have given you permission to send to them. A high spam rate will get your account canned.

Sure! Email marketing is a great way to increase ecommerce sales. Many Shopify stores use Klaviyo but it is much more expensive than Shopify. If you have all the features you want, no reason not to use SendFox.

@@dave-swift Thanks Dave. Question though, new contacts/customers are collected and stored in Shopify. Is there any way to integrate the two, or a better way to upload new contacts to Sendfox? Or just batch upload them manually? Thanks!

Oh, sure! You can use an automation tool to do this for you. SendFox has Zapier but it also has API access so you can use any automation tool to add contacts. I use n8n because it’s open source and self hosted.
