Hey Dave, I really enjoy watching your reviews-your insights on these deals are always spot-on! One suggestion I’d like to offer is to standardize your scoring process. Establishing some baseline criteria, such as UI/UX, Value for Money, Integrations & Ecosystem Compatibility, and Community Feedback, could add even more credibility and consistency to your already excellent reviews. I mention this because I’ve noticed certain apps receive lower scores when they fail to execute a specific task, which sometimes feels influenced by subjective expectations. Not that it’s unwarranted-I trust your judgment-but formalizing the categories might make the scoring feel more universally fair and less open to interpretation. You’re a tough ranker, and when you give an app an 8+ score, I know it’s worth examining seriously. A standardized system could further highlight those high-performing apps while giving viewers insight into where an app may fall short. This is just a thought from a fan who appreciates your work and values your recommendations. Keep up the great content!

Thanks @YourMove37. I appreciate your feedback. The scoring shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's a fun gimmick, and that's all. I have been doing it since 2019 (6+ years!). As you've noted, scoring is subjective. The tools don't have the same feature, utility, or benefit. There is no way to be completely standardized as even tools in the same category will have different features and uses. In the end, I try to make the most comprehensive reviews possible to save viewers time and teach people how to use tools as much as possible. Enjoy the scores for what they are, a quick check to see what my overall impression of a tool is. Always see things through the lens of your business and how it might be helpful (or not helpful) based on your own needs and pain points. Thanks again for watching and the nice words!

I agree - great videos, but the scoring system needs an update to actually reflect how strong an app is - even if it's a niche app.

What are your guys scores!? Rate Reelcraft for me :)

@@dave-swift Haven't tried this app - actually due to your review. The outcome just screams AI to me :) But I'd love a niche score. Like how well does this compare to its competitors? Should we go with a nice LTD or are there much better (well known) options out there?

The number of generative Video AI is getting confusing. Soon it will take longer to compare them than shooting a real video in real life.

😂😂😂 it’s only going to get worse. Keep it locked in over on this channel , I’ll have it covered (from the LTD side anyway)!

Does 11 Labs allow you to download a voice profile that you can upload in other apps? Or do you upload a sample of your voice... Thank you for another great video
@dave-swift3 күн бұрын
You upload a sample of your voice. Anything under 10mb works! No specific script to read. I just used a clip from a video.

@@dave-swift Are you sure there were 150 licences and not like 5? It certainly feels more like the latter. Furthermore, tier 3 and tier 4 became *much more* expensive than mere $10. Honestly, this pricing policy s.cks.

@@dave-swift tell me about it . When I saw this, I purchased at tier 4. This is too good to pass. it will pay of itself. BTW, is there an after market to sell LTDs we no longer need? I have some programs people would want to bid for that I don't use anymore and would like to unload them for cash. Thank you Dave.

It seems they changed the credit system recently. Credit cost is per MINUTE not per project So if you want to produce a 4 minute video, you will essentially spend 200 credits. So a tier 2 would get you max 10 mins of video. Not that exciting.
@dave-swift4 күн бұрын
Yep, it says right on the video generation screen 50 credits per minute. I don't think this is a recent change. The two videos, 4 images, and text to voice (with custom voice) I generated used a total of 85 credits. I think the limits are pretty reasonable but if you need more, tier 4 is 7000/month.
