Profiterole recipe
For the dough
200 ml of water
125 g margarine
200 ml flour
3 eggs
for cream
500 ml of milk
3 tablespoons of flour
150 ml sugar
1 egg
1 pack of vanilla
I used ready made chocolate sauce. I used 500 ml of milk for the sauce.
Let's add water to our pot for the dough. After the margarine melts and the water starts to boil, add the flour and mix for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the stove and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile, let's prepare the cream. For the cream, put all the ingredients except the vanillin in the saucepan and boil until the cream solidifies. Then take it off the stove and add vanilla and mix it. Cover it with cling film so that it does not dry out and set it aside to cool.
Let's put 3 eggs one by one into the cooled dough and mix until the egg is mixed into the dough. After feeding the eggs into the dough, let the dough rest for 10 minutes. After the dough has rested, let's make balls the size of a walnut from our dough and place them so that there is a gap between them. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
For the sauce we will put on the profiteroles, let's take 500 ml of milk in our pot and add the powder of the ready chocolate sauce. Let it cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Set the solidified sauce aside to cool. Let's put the cream we prepared in a squeezing bag. Let's squeeze the cream into the profiteroles balls that we took out of the oven after they have cooled. I prepared a single serving. You can put them all on a large plate if you wish. Let's pour the cooled chocolate sauce on the balls that we squeezed cream into. Enjoy your meal
