Hey Cassandra! Relatable content. I have a question: I want to have a name for my parent company and launch several products under different brand names. These brand names contain the parent company's name and then something in addition. If I get my brand approval on Amazon for the cosmetic branch of my parent company, by giving Amazon the pictures of my product that show this brand, Is it okay for me to register with the USPTO my Parent Company's name? If it’s a single item, yes. BUT you can get away with not needing one by making bundles! A bundle uses a GTIN exemption to list them. So put more than one item together that goes together.

Hey Crystal!! I would make sure then that you’re choosing a manufacturer that you trust. If this is something completely new to the market and you’re worried it could be reproduced you could also think about getting a patent for it!

I really want to thank you for the great content, I have couple questions please, 1- how do you send products from china to Amazon FBA with no Barcodes on the Chinese products? 2- Even if you get china products sent to your house, how do you get the barcodes for the products so you can ship to FBA? Every product must have a barcode and a FNSKU. Barcodes you purchase through GS1 website and your manufacturer puts it on the packaging. The FNSKU gets created when you add the product to your Amazon inventory and then if your supplier is willing to put them on for you, you’ll have to give them access to print those FNSKUS. Both would be the answer. The products are yours. You’ve manufactured them and put your brand on them. Then you create the listing.

I can't guarantee that you WON'T fail... even veterans have products that flop. The key is to not give up and to do your research first! Before you invest make sure that the product is proving to have very high potential to succeed.

Then you would just have to get your manufacturer to put the FNSKU onto the products. You’d have to create the listing in your seller central then they would go in and print the labels and put them on, then ship to Amazon.

Hey so I’ve been using seller AMP and found a very great private label product that has a BSR of 551, (1%), 20k a month of sales and a profit margin of about $17FBM or 21 with FBA.. with only 2 competitors ! .. my question is basically asking if it’s worth it ! Doing it as FBA ?.. and I’m sure I’ll have to optimize it, enhance it a bit but does that sound like a profitable product to you and how can I privately DM you because I really want to kick start my first PL product ! Only 2 competitors?! The data you’re saying almost sounds too good to be true! Be sure you can diversify the product some how and make it uniquely yours. I won’t lie, it’s a lot of work bringing new products to the market. PPC plays a big role, as well as your keywords and listing quality.
