O-line and D-line are the issues though, not the weapons. Purdy proved he can deliver it to whoever is out there running routes and I don't think they will have the injuries to so many key players in 2025. That being said, I could easily see the Niners taking a TE in the first 3 rounds. They have no depth at the position behind Kittle.

Weapons in later rounds sure, if they can find another Kittle level of player in 5th ... FANGASM... but they got a 1st round guy last year at WR hopefully he doesn't get shot in the off season... again, they have their 1st round extension guy injured who may be ready by next season, Deebo is... well he's an enigma..., Jennings may not be first round talent but he is one of the best WR3 guys out there, RB skill has never been a real problem, it's health, but CMC is the guy unless his career is over.

The niners don't need a WR. They need depth at RB and TE in the later rounds but need to focus on DT and an edge to pair with Bosa in the earlier rounds. They will eventually need a replacement for Trent Williams at LT whenever he decides to retire and could upgrade all along the line outside of TWill and Puni. After that, get another RB since Kyle gets them hurt all the time, but that can wait till later. Get a backup TE with some upside in case Kittle gets hurt, which he usually does a few games a year. If they don't keep Huf at safety they will need another safety as well. This team has more needs than people are willing to admit.

OT Banks at pick 11 and OC Wilson at pick 75 to keep Purdy upright. Remember how Alex Mack made Shanny's outside zone sing? Not expecting anyone that good, but a new ZBS Center would really help. Need WR and TE to catch the ball. FB depth would not hurt either.

@@lukeywalsh I'd like a new center too but we'll see. I don't think we need a new WR. We just paid Aiyuk and Jennings and drafted Pearsall and Cowing. A backup TE would be good. You also don't draft FB depth, you find that after the draft.

I would be ECSTATIC if this is how our draft shook out!! Since the dawn of man, many football games have come down to who wins the line of scrimmage. Every quarterback is better with better protection, every running back is made more productive with better blocking, every secondary is better at coverage with better pass rush, and every offense becomes predictable when you can stop the run enough to scare them out of it. The more talented team can very easily lose big games if they lose the line of scrimmage. When we've been at our best, we've had a roster and scheme focused on dominating both lines. I watched the right side of our line arguably cost us the super bowl down the stretch last year allowing Chris Jones to wreak havoc in our backfield. And so much unnecessary stress has been put onto our awesome linebackers and developing DBs by having an inability to stop the run at the line. I'm not very optimistic he'll be there, but I would be OVER THE MOON if our San Francisco 49ers somehow lucked into Kelvin Banks Jr on draft day

Great draft! Absolutely need two offensive lineman in first 3 rounds to move O-line up from bottom third of teams to middle of the pack. Niners must be able to get first downs on third-and-short by running. Simmons is a good alternative to Banks if he is gone. Like edge and DT picks, also needed. Normally favor defensive picks for early rounds, but O-line has been seriously neglected over the years under Shanahan/Lynch, to its detriment. Top playoff teams have top O-lines.

O-line usually need 2-3 years to develop. There’s no blue-chip plug-and-play guys who project to be above average starters from day 1 in this draft. Rookie o-lineman are not gunna make the o-line better much season

The draft has a number of O-lineman that have graded out within a few points of eqxh other. If we can’t get the Michigan DT, which is not likely, than trade the #1 for a lower #1 and a #2. Then take a lower rated lineman than Banks Jr, and pick a DT and OG in the 2nd round

Josh Simmons is a lot better imo but he injured his knee last Oct. Banks looked horrible against Georgia. Watch the tape against Mykel Williams. Feet may be too slow to play LT. I would trade down and draft Simmons. Hes that good. Let him sit out the year to rehab completely and learn behind Trent. Simmons has youth behind him. He'll make a complete recovery.

Kelvin Banks has to be Niners 1st Round Pick. You're not gonna overpay Brocka and not protect your investment. Edge Mike Green from Marshall. How about drafting a DE from a bigger school where they have faced tougher competition? Georgia guard at #3 makes sense since Aaron Banks is a stiff.

Jenty is not being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys people would stop, but they’re not using the first one draft pick on running back they do not value the running back like that anymore who I believe my draft would be the Bears or possibly the Raiders who knows but I just don’t see him even getting into Dallas second of all I do not think Dallas is going to use the first round draft pick on him . Dallas is either gonna use it on a receiver. I left tackle which I don’t necessarily wanna see them do but I think that’s possibility what they need to do is use their first round draft pick on a deep inside defense tackle to stop the run that’s why I think they they’ll probably trade down maybe once and I like to see twice then get a lower 1 and and extra 3 and 4 and possible one or two other picks then when I like to see them do it’s straight down twice get that third or fourth possibly do it a second round swap in the scenario and then them draft the DT form old misss then nt from Kennedy in the second round then draft rb , wr in the 3rd. Draft S with 4 then use there 3 fifth to draft cb , lb and De and you let say two 6 draft another lb and lt then use one 7th on qb and another lb

Both the offensive and defensive lines are seriously lacking and injuries have taken their toll. Free agency is not the answer/.Time for a rebuild. Here is one way the 49ers can do it and regain their NFL prowess in just one draft and give Purdy the protection and the healthy weapons he will need. Trade the 11th pick overall to Cinci for the 16th pick overall and the 80th and 117th Trade the 16th overall pick to Baltimore for the 27th pick overall and the 59th and 211th Trade Nick Bosa for a first and second round pick and use them to pick up another Edge rusher and DT. Trade McCaffery for a two and a three and use them for a RB and a TE Trade Samuels for a 2nd round and forth round pick and draft a WR and a RB Let Hargrave and Trent Williams go to free up more salary cap.. 1 DE 1 OT 2 OT 2 WR 2 DT 2 DT 2 RB 3 QG 3 OG 3 LB 3 LB 4 S 4 DE 4 RB 4 CB 6 CB 6 LB 7 DT 7 LB 7 K........The three first round picks the management gave up for Lance could have easily given the 49ers all of these picks above normal picks and more. Being the main reason I would fire Shanahan. Three first round picks can be parlayed into a lot of picks. Looking to the expensive free agent market for the quick fix is not the answer and neither is throwing huge dollars at players that are in their injury prone years. Let someone else take the risk and to fork out all the money, at the expense of key positions.

There's a lot of speculation in 49ers KZbinr land that they will be (and maybe should be) going with TE Tyler Warren for the 1st round pick. Eventual replacement for Kittle. Solves TE2 issue. Double TE sets would go well with Shanahan style scheming. And TE **DOES** do some OL style blocking so it is perceived as partially addressing the OL issues. Not saying I want them to do anything other than true OL. But just noting that at least Krug, Chat Sports, and I think even Lombardi have all talked up Warren as a serious possibility.

He's a perfect Kyle weapon where he can do everything-- catch, run, block, maybe throw a pass. We've got cap space too, so I think we end up signing one OL and drafting one-- maybe a second one late in the draft.
