@@water-of-life No doubt! Took my Son to Canton in 2001...we got his Ram helmet signed by Jack on the left horn and Dryer on the right one! All by chance the morning of the ceremonies! You can pay 150 dollar fee to meet and greet the guys afterwards...we just got lucky! Awesome day... Where we were sitting in the stands we sat right beside one of Jack's girlfriends from back in the day!

As a 7year old Oregon kid I picked the Rams in 1972 as my team because the horns were cooler than the 49ers. Every kid had their own team and said they were their favorite player. I was Jack Youngblood with a white horned Rams helmet and played on the grass after school every day with the other kids, until the inside pads started falling out of the helmet and it started hurting my head. By then, the yellow horned stripes were out so my mom got one and wore it out too. Last month I got a Jared Verse jersey and am still a fan. Your (we not me) attitude made you a generational role model and lifelong fan. Thank you Jack!! you are still my favorite all time NFL player. Go Rams!

He meant so much to all the kids in my elementary/junior high school class growing up in the 70s in So Cal. We all thought he was a God. He is the epitome of what a man should be and is the epitome of anything 1970s. All the best JY

I'm a Cowboys fan and Mr. Youngblood was always a thorn in our side. We had a HOF right tackle (Rayfield Wright) that couldn't handle him. But then, HOF's like Dierdorf and Yary couldn't either. I'm not sure where he's rated, I'm just sure he's underrated.
