Progenitor cells regenerate heart muscle and repel scar-forming fibroblasts

Our latest research published in Nature Cell Biology reveals the mechanisms that enable human progenitor cells to migrate to the site of cardiac injury and regenerate heart cells, while simultaneously repelling fibroblasts to prevent fibrotic scarring.
