In this Nautical Program, of tourist interest, based on the navigation of the outer Río de la Plata, we will show you the paths to Puerto José Carbajal (the Sabalero), former Puerto Sauce; located in Juan Lacaze, department of Colonia and also to Riachuelo.
We have to offer you new beaches, a lot of wind, two courses and new ports, in short, what we like!
It is a crossing of 180 nautical miles translated in 20 minutes of excellent images and comments, you can not miss it! We sailed from Dique Luján to San Fernando and from there to Juan Lacaze, after a couple of days we sailed to the Embarcadero de Yates Riachuelo Park, where we visited the house of the Argentinian navigator Renné Salem and the quarries. From there, with a frustrated stopover in Colonia (due to the change in weather forecast), we headed to San Francisco, to enter Conchillas, and thus protect ourselves from the SE winds of 38/40 knots that were expected for the next 48 hours . Upon arrival we find ourselves with 30 cms below the tide limit to be able to enter and yellow alert in Uruguay; while we were waiting for the spike, the storm moved forward and we endured gusts of 60 knots at anchor (and also weathered, when the anchor was tethering) in the roadstead of Conchillas until we could enter, conspiring against us the dense curtain of water and the darkness of the night.
Only two days later we were able to navigate the last voyage to arrive safely.
