Great video, very in-depth and precisely the missing content for rust audio development! Thank you for your work!

Glad you found it useful, this is exactly why I made this video! I tried to find a high-level overview of some of this stuff when I started exploring Rust audio programming and couldn't find one. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the in-depth explanations here, made for a very approachable intro to fundsp, a step or two beyond hello-world

excellent video! your explanations are very clear and precise. it would be awesome to see more videos about your rust journey!

Thanks, I'm glad it was clear. I definitely will make some more videos about Rust, I've been writing a software audio tracker with built in synth engines and I'm planning to make a few videos about that. I have a sort of useable prototype now, but it needs a bit more work before I show it off. Thanks for watching!

Hi, good chill video (I'm currently at the middle of it). Fundsp seems to be interesting. A couple of comments from me: 1) while your voice is nice and calming the recording itself needs some love, maybe it's your mic, maybe something else. 2) as a somewhat experienced rust dev (me) it's a little awkward to listen to explanation of some basic (and not so basic but already known to me) things. Not sure if you need to do something with it, explaining stuff lowers the bar for entry, but imo people should first learn the language itself before getting into building things.

Thanks for watching and the feedback. Regarding the over explanation of some of the Rust stuff, it's kind of aimed at people who are interested in electronic music and are curious about audio programming, which is a large part of my channel's audience. Saying that, it's hard to teach Rust at a high level, so it probably doesn't hit the mark for either audience, electronic music people or Rust users. Ah well!

thanks for explaining I'm a programmer from a different language but I don't know all the audio engineering stuff

Hey Mo, I'm a pretty big newbie in programing and was wondering if the CPAL and FunDSP could be used to make a synth that transfers audio p2p. Just trying to mess around and learn a bit more from it. Regardless, thanks for the cool video dude!

Hi @ThunderLiege, I'm not sure I understand what you're wanting to do, could you explain in a bit more detail?
