Worked perfectly for the left button so what I would add is that if, like me, you have the 2 button remote and your right button is used to open only one gate you can repeat this process but instead of pressing the left button, you press the right button on each remote. You follow the same order as in the video.

Thank you! Is there any way for the maintenance company to fill the memory/slots of the receiver or to key protect it so the only way to copy is to do it buying at their shop? I'm afraid this method won't work for me:( however they copy them without being close to the receiver... 🤔

Hi Platinumlook, I was trying to follow the instructions but the new remote is still not active. I have no access to receiver (it is locked) but stood right next to it. I try to clone from the working remote. 2 buttons first then 1 left button - working remote and the new one. Could you please advise;)

Y Y - sorry for a late reply but just saw this. This may also help someone else. The other thing I found is that you need to start step 2 (coding new remote) straight after without pausing much completing step 1 (pressing the button on ‘old’ remote) otherwise the new coding doesn’t register. And again, make sure you’re standing as close as possible to the motor/receiver. Hope this helps as it only worked for me after I made sure I was very close to the motor and I completed the steps quickly without pausing too much between steps 1 & steps 2.

The dislikes are very unfair because this video was hugely helpful. I was going to be charged a lot of money by the fitter just to code new remotes if it wasn’t for this, so THANK YOU for the video. Probably the dislikes are from people who are having difficulties but that doesn’t mean the technique doesn’t work..

I have BFT Mitto4. After watching your video, I was able to copy top 2 buttons for opening the main gate, one first one is to open the gate fully and the other one is half opening. Thank you for that. Now I can not copy the third button for opening a garage door. I tried many times as I did for top 2 buttons but somehow I can not copy the third one......Could you tell me how to copy the third button, which is the bottom and left one.

Mine didn’t work with this. It’s a leased property where every flat received one remote only and the managing agent want to charge me crazy money to get me a spare gate remote because apparently it’s difficult to programme. Any ideas why my new remote isn’t programming? The old one works fine! Could it simply be that they did something to ensure we can’t programme ourselves and must pay a lot of money if we wanted a spare?
