Hi! Boss Me80 is a great multi-effects but MG30 is IR loader, have send/return connections, dual footswitch external as Boss FS6, two processors working together... It's a more modern multi-effects as the Gt1000/Gt1000core generation.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever tried the ME80 in combination with software preamps, amps and cabs. I’ve only used Logic so far, so that’s the only one I know, but I believe there are lots of pro ones out there. Just wondering how they would work as a replacement to the ME80 preamps and cab sim. Btw, as a huge Guthrie fan, this was fun to hear.

Because it's very simple equipment compared to Guthrie equipments so I try to make things a little easier for other people and I also have fun during the process. I think this is what moves me and keeps me going. About the other question, yes! It looks really good. Just turn off the Me80's preamp/cab simulator, send the signal to the computer and use a good VST amp simulator. I've never done Me80 + VST videos, but I've tested them. By the way what is your trick for the good sound. Some people say the ME80 distortions and amp sims are not good but they sound fine to me on your videos. Is it because they don’t have the cab turned on or was the device bad in the beginning and then they updated the firmware. Or is it stuff like eq and compression.

Most of the time they don't activate cabinet simulation. Another reason is that many don't know about which frequencies to boost or cut. Sometimes we just need an EQ to make the sound usable. Isso... da Boss eu tenho aqui a Me25, Me80, GT1 e GT100. Eu nunca programei uma Me70, provavelmente deve ser parecida com a 25 e a 80 mas não posso afirmar com toda certeza. Abração cara!
