Thank you James, your table was much clearer than the pivot table in the manual. Had a test on the layout last night and all works as expected.

Thanks for a very good video, it flickers pretty well when you show off the paper in the camera.

Hi there, great video - thanks! I would have three questions: 1) For MP1 (all outputs) the optimal setting is CV=47 and value 6? 2) What does the word 'bit' mean and the bands 0-3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 - on the page No. 32 of DR4018 manual (from min 13:30)? I find it a bit confusing. 3) Would be possible to share the excel spreadsheet or make it clearer on the video, as they are very blurry and nothing can be read from it. Many thanks for what you are doing.

I found your video very useful. My layout comprises two boards on the same bus but each board has a DR4018 that controls points. I now want to add lighting as shown in your video. My question is how do I address them when they are both on the same bus? They cannot both have address 9999. I thought of disconnecting one and then the other in order to programme them individually. However if I do that I do not know what addresses to give to the outputs of the “second” DR 4018 in order for the outputs to count up in sequence from 17 upwards. Can you give some advice please?

Great video and demonstration of setting it up as it answered my question about SEP point motors. I know you said it can control the mtb mp point motors but how about tortoise or cobalt motors does it work with them?

Yes it works with tortoise and cobalt as well yes but not seep

Good afternoon, I have a DR4018 programmed preset 2 for 4 viessmann 4411 signals but I have to add two new viessmann 4412 and 4413 signals. How do I have to program them to work properly? Thanks in advance

A little hard to follow. Can I get a copy of your chart? I cannot read it on the video

Why was the Pico hand throttle not plugged into the DR 5000 but into the 4088

If I'm going down the ITrain Plus route, do I need a throttle or can I just use ITrain on the laptop?

As a novice, Is it better or even necessary to do all this track ,points, lights, loco programming etc. Before connecting to I train

What do you mean? If you are going to use iTrain then you have to have the point control by accessory decoders.

@@DCCtrainautomation ,yes I will have 4018 accessory decoders but I just wondered if it all needed to be set up and running before applying I train to the layout, it’s probably a daft question but I’m just trying to get my head around things before I start
