Good job - i had the same old genie garage door and had the new opener GT3-A opener. Followed your advice and it worked. The official genie videos are horrible. Thanks for putting your video up.

GICT390 did work. As he says on the video, you have to press and hold the remote control’s button (GICT390) after pressed the garage box learn button. Then after 10 seconds I release wait for the learn button light be off and then press the remote control and door will move! 😍

This helped me do the trick! I did also need to unplug and replug in my garage door opener to reset. 😉.
