Programming invT into a Ti 83 or Ti 83+ Calculator

thank you so much for this. for the future, i'll leave a comment of wisdom for some people: if your calculator only showns prgmINVT, press enter to actually begin running the program. only after pressing enter will the calculator ask you to input the area to the left. press enter again and you may enter the df.

Relook at your coding by going to prgm and edit the INVT. Make sure everything is exactly the same because I was sure I typed it right and I was having the same issue but then something was wrong and I changed it and now it works for me.

Thanks, worked on Ti-82 also. You have to be very specific with dots and commas, else you will get errors.

For the ones that are getting a syntax error... You have to hit Enter again once you hit the InvT function.

Update: you can find the < (less than) sign in the 2nd TEST menu more quickly than finding it in the 2nd CATALOG menu.

Great video but im not getting invT in pgrm after i enter in all the data and finish off with 2nd quit. Do i finish by pressing a button so that invT goes to program. When i go to program, I see invT in EDIT, but when i click it, it goes straight to the code. I have TI-83 Plus Silver
