Great tutorial! I am researching if this method of doing a server authentication? My idea is; users inputs name and password in my program, does a check to MySQL database if his information is correct, if true then the program goes to Form2, if false user is locked out of program. Or are there better ways to do that?

with this one its not the server problem but rather your username create another with a autogenerated password and you can use 'old guids=true' at the end of your connection
