I figured it out! My sound only worked when I had my earbuds in. Each time I tried playing a video with sound, I could hear clicks that come from the speaker. Out of spike, losing hope after watching countless of videos, searching through websites. I slammed my hand against my laptop and sound blessed my ears. Moral of the story: violence is the answer.

My issue is solved : Following are the steps I followed: 1. Went to official website of my computer(lenovo). 2. They scanned the PC to know to the Serial no and Model no of my PC. 3.The list of Drivers occurred on screen and they advised to install the drivers. 4. One of the drivers was ' Realtek High definition driver' which was missing from my computer. 5. After the installation crackling noise issue was solved.

Ok the solution that worked for me was when you are in the device manager, right click the Realtek High definiton audio. It maybe in the other devices option. Like mine was. Then I selected Update driver, then 'Browse my computer for driver software' and in the search for drivers box, just type C:\. After that click Next and it will search your computer for drivers. It may take awhile but it worked for me.

Just right click on whatever you find there. Desable it and enable it again then restart you PC. Hope you get it?
