Progress in medical education | 2023 State of the School of Medicine

WashU Medicine continues to make tremendous progress in medical education. With a modernized curriculum, the MD program received the LCME’s highest level of accreditation. Our graduates predominantly land at the top medical centers for residency training. And we provide critical support, including scholarships, to alleviate debt for our medical students. WashU School of Medicine also has the lowest number of indebted graduates, when compared with other private medical schools, and our graduates carry the lowest average debt.
