PROGRESS ON THE NEW PICKLEBALL COURTS!
Construction for eight new Pickleball Courts at Posse Grounds Park began on June 3 and will be completed by the end of the year!
On August 6, concrete for 4-courts was placed, requiring 20 concrete trucks in constant rotation from 5:00 am - 3:00 pm. Approximately 190 cubic yards of concrete was pumped into place and troweled to a smooth finish. We are very excited to achieve this milestone on this project that has significant community support. The remaining 4-courts will have concrete placed next week. It takes approximately 28 days for the concrete to cure.
The new Pickleball Courts will be located on the west corner of Posse Grounds Park, just left of the intersection of Posse Grounds Road and Carruth Drive.
