Just wanted to say thank you at Offbeat for uploading the work on all of your projects. even though you don't upload every week or even once a month, I will gladly wait to see you progress with your projects because you upload grade A high quality tutorials/informationals, that are actually decently funny sometimes which is definately a big bonus. People might get upset that you don't upload frequently, but I can understand going to school/work/sleeping/eating/maintaining friendships all while trying to build a big project for yourself. So I thank you for uploading when you're able too and putting a big dopey ass smile on our faces with each video.

i like your work, and your videos are great and yet funny, but im just wondering about the welding on the struts/bars, they look like mig welded, and some of them that i saw in the video looked like they haven had the proper heat to sink in? it looks like they build on top if you know what i mean? sorry about questionable english writhing, but im from sweden so :P but do you think they are strong enough to get cleared at a competition? ive tig welded my cage so the heat really penetrates the bars other than that, great work! gonna be a cool car! keep it up man! peace

That's Nikita's that I use for mock up in my car until I have enough money to buy my own. So in the meantime while he uses his Bride seat, I use my sonic motors one u til I save up for a Bride.

just out of curiosity would this type of main hoop fit a s13 coupe or are the dimensions different and btw great video bro keep it up

To get bends really level you can use a magnetic angle gauge, its what he uses on "the fabricator" channel.

how did you manage to weld the top tube?
@OffBeatGarage8 жыл бұрын
Front base plates get removed which allows for the cage to be pulled forward and down giving 4+ inches of clearance to the roof and that's when i weld the top.
@jdm_jadon8 жыл бұрын
At the 14 minute mark how long did it actually take you to cut out one notch
@OffBeatGarage8 жыл бұрын
1.5 minutes for cut off disc and 3 minutes for flap disc. In total 4.5 minutes from straight tube to notched. If I'm doing an adjustment notch or just re-notching it ends up being about 1.5 minutes with a flap disc
@kempie20078 жыл бұрын
So how are you welding the top of the cage?
@OffBeatGarage8 жыл бұрын
Pull the cage forward which drops it down about 4 inches and then I can weld the top. it's on my Instagram and Facebook if you want to see pics of that :)
