Project 75: Turd polishing or does Autoglym Headlight restorer actually work?

With prices of cars gone the way they are and everyone thinking old, rusty, abandoned and now rare cars as worth €€€€€€€ I want to find out if you can still buy and fix up an interesting and cheap car in Ireland.
Thanks to the viewer and channel fan who kick started this by donating the Rover 75 which kick started this in my mind!

Your result is better than mine using the same product; I must have another go... Here's a tip for you - rather than masking the bonnet, just open it. It's also not that difficult to remove the front bumper although yours is complicated by the headlamp washers which mine doesn't have. Anyway, with the bumper removed, there's no need to mask the surroundings. Thanks for the video.

I'm just in from finishing them completely and as its dark I can't see how good it is but it's made a HUGE difference from what I can see.

Hi John. Great video. Personally I'd recommend Turtle Wax Headlight restorer kit with their special formula which requires NO Drill or scraping whatsoever

I've used it before too and WD40 but this seemed to do a much better job cutting back the old lacquer. I just applied a ceramic coating which hopefully helps it last. Wax is great too.

Hi john my clocks are after stopping in my mg zt which means ecu more than likely is that something the guy u got on your ecu could he sort
