Great explanation. I think it's critical to point out is that you need to conduct Risk Identification and Analysis continuously. It's not a one-time activity during project planning. You do Risk Identification all the time during the whole project life cycle.

Oh yes. I didn’t mention that did I? It’s really easy to get complacent and think “now I’ve planned the project I don’t have to think about these things”. Which is rather untrue.
