Saracens Chance is a great option as well for the amulet. You don't need the IAS from amulet with 45% IAS helm, 20% on windforce, 20% on LoH, and a corruption for 10% ias on gloves or belt

Why would you replace ohms with max dmg (+15) jewels in the bow and then put ED (+40%) jewels in the helm? Wouldn't it give more damage to put the max dmg jewels (+15) in the helm and keep ohm (+50%) in the bow?

Bowazon is one of my favorite builds in D2 and I have only one complaint about this guide. You do not max guided for the damage, you max it for the reduced mana cost if your gear isn't good enough to kill bosses before you run out. Other than that it's an alternate skill point dump if you don't care about faster hit recovery from dodge.

@@boragaming1839 With bad gear you don't have BO. I've spent a significant amount of time on zons with under 200 max mana using Goldstrike, Buriza, or whatever since I do a lot of single player. In those cases it's either points in guided or literally TPing to town for blue pots. And resummoning your valk is another 30+ mana gone.

Haha yea we all miss 1.09. There is actually another community mod so you can just play 1.09. Not nearly as many people play that as PD2 though so it's a little slow. Great for solo self found though!

I'm playing SSF with an upgraded Lycanders Aim and FA. Hell is going extremely slow due to all the cold immunes though. Would it be worth respeccing to this or does it really require way better gear to perform?

Why would you do cats eye over highlords when they both give the same atk speed but highlords you get free ds?

Zons have passive crit. Passive crit rolls before DS. Therefore the DS on highlords is about 6%. Cats eye has 25 dex which = 25%ed which is far better than 6% DS. Cats eye also has FRW s as an added bonus. Cats eye is objectively better.

hey there, i am considering making a bowason to play with my druid friend but it is on hardcore, if u change some dex into vita u still think dmg would be good enough? i also was thinking about adding pride to a2 merc since he will be rocking a1 merc with tri aura Havnt played amazon at all and is in general more comofortable on casters but i see how much me and a druid would share dmg buffs in common + the extra meatshields should be helpful, great guide and nice video ! :)

My first char on PD2 was a Bowazon... The gear is effin costly... Especially the windforce... So i created a fire Soso and put decent gear with 6 Fire GCs and its my main character now... To mf for things for my zon and friends xD

d2 comes to what character kills faster pack mobs, I think this one has to be it, and also one character to kill uniques like pandemonium event or d clone, so 2 chars needed

I am fairly sure I explain that in the video. Deadly strike is not nearly as effective for zons because they have passive crit. The game does not add crit strike + deadly strike. It rolls one, then rolls the other. They cannot both proc at the same time (i.e. you can't do triple damage) ONLY in the event that your passive crit does not succeed does it roll the deadly strike. So if you have 70% passive crit, and 30% deadly strike as an example, deadly strikes true effectiveness is 9%. You are far better off using cats eye (as an example), which gives you added damage on every attack.

My dragondin pala 3 taps diablo. Just as fast if not faster than this. Clear speed is also comparable, but is a lot tankier and prob a good bit cheaper overall.

First of all great guide. Your gear is top tier. But we don't agree on something.. There are actually more "animal" mobs. (Aka not demon or undead.) Than either demon or undead in the game. And in Pd2 maps, most of the bulky physical resist mobs are niether demons or undead. Thorned hulks, blood lords, siege beasts, maulers...

All mercs only can stack two auras. Your faint is wasted there if you didn't realized it. You can see only Might and faster walking from act1 merc and the 3rd auras are from your druid summons.
