OMG THE HERO OF THE STORM IS HERE!!!!!!!! I’m a huge fan of your character Jean DeLamar so much he been my most favorite character as well as the rest of the characters in Eden Garden so thank you for bringing him to life he was my most favorite buff character of the series I like how useful he was during the trail and what’s funny I’m literally the same age as him but mine is like next door to Jett Dawson which is funny too there both are awesome but I looked up to Jean as my role model of what a true hero compassion he is and how easy out going he is as well as how cool his design is I really appreciate you for being the voice of Jean Dylan. And I hope strongly your character survive! But I don’t know if he will but I will never give up on supporting Jean and You as well! Every hero deserve a supporter!

Unlike Snow and Sabrina, for whom I had already seen some of their stuff, this is my first time hearing more about Dylan, and he seems like such a cool guy! The fact that he redid his Chapter 1 lines three times just to do the best performance he possibly could speaks volumes to how much he cares for the project. It's very admirable! His portrayal of Jean is also unreplaceable, that joyous but stern tone captures the character like nothing else. It's the kind of voice that screams "This is a man I would trust to lead me", and Dylan was, similar to the rest of the cast, the perfect choice for him. And I couldn't help but notice that the way Dylan speaks of the P:EG team is very reminiscent of the way Jean often speaks of his crew, both in game and in the in-character interview in this video (just the way he considers everyone a friend first and foremost and brings them up every chance he gets while discussing the project). It just goes to show how much the actors in this cast mirror their characters.

17:55 Dylan and Evan perfectly summed up one of the biggest things I think Eden's Garden has over Danganronpa. Even disregarding the early deaths, the DR games always had some characters I thought were either really annoying (Hifumi, Hiro, and Hiyoko) or really boring (Tsumugi and half of the DR2 survivors). Eden's Garden doesn't have either of those! Even with the characters I'm not as invested in, that's only because we don't know a lot about them yet (like Mark or Eloise), rather than any kind of dislike on my part. I am really happy to have a cast of characters that doesn't have any where I'm like "Ugh... It's them again"

Exactly! None of them are treated as a joke, and even when they are meant to be comic relief (Jett) he's still presented as a human being instead of a walking stereotype

@@LatchinOn Yup! Same with Cassidy. She's not just "Funny gamer girl makes references", she's also really friendly, having been one of the only people to not treat Eva like a loser or an enemy. Like with Jett, she too is both comic relief and an actual human being!

@ That's fair. Cassidy's my favorite but I can definitely see why people dislike her. As for Wenona, I find her interesting (and good-looking) but she is one of the lower characters on my list so far

@@SamTheMarioMan I think Cassidy has really grown on me as time has gone on. She was initially a little too Twitch streamer at the start, but as time went on we get to know her and realize that she's just always turned up to 11 at all times. Wenona, she may be pretty, but I'm with Cassidy, eat the rich, lmao.

I'd love to gush about how hot Jean is, in both appearance and voice, but I suppose I should keep my comments relevant to the characters themselves XD I love Jean. He hasn't *quite* made my Top 5 (Diana, Desmond, Grace, Kai, Cassidy) yet, but he's really close! He's a fun guy and super nice to the other students, and he's also surprisingly smart, knowing a lot about things like hallucinogens and some science related to the Chapter 1 case. Honestly, I'm scared for his safety in this game, not because he's a buff guy (since the creators said they won't be doing the whole "buff guy dies in Chapter 4" trope), but because he's got some of everything: strength, smarts, and charisma!

30:43 I agree with Dylan that how I feel when I see Wolfgang on Eden Project like Wolfgang he is a good lawyer and what’s funny is that when I watched the prologue last year as my first danganronpa fanmade the live chat were TOTALLY supportive towards Wolfgang especially the meme as well of he said during the trial lol! But I definitely agree what Dylan said (a.k.a. My favorite character Jean the HERO OF THE STORM! Hehe I have to put that there lol!).

something i love about Eden is that it takes the best parts of danganronpa, and it doesn't take the downfalls. while i won't say one is better than the other because they are both so good, but i will say eden improves upon and doesn't take away
