Spoilers to this game and to canon Danganronpa games. Read at your own risk! To be fair, Damon had to debate against Weona, Grace and Ulysses in the Rebuttal Showdowns of chapter 1 and rebuttal Showdowns in the canon games foreshadowed the deaths of characters in the canon Danganronpa games, so I think Kai is safe (At least for now) at the cost of either Weona, Grace or Ulysses. Unless the Rebuttal showdowns won't foreshadow the deaths of characters in this game because Chapter 1 had a lot of surprises for us but let's see.
