Haha, thank you. Time, money, weather and inclination are a lot of factors to slow down these sorts of projects. My ADHD goes into overdrive and I rush to try and get things done. this is the first time I have taken more time and effort.

Loving the standard look 👍🏻. Well done . Always harder on your own

Thank you, I really appreciate that, it is hard and not many keep Land Rovers very standard (which is of course fine) but I want this to be as original as possible, scars and all.

My restoration is moving at a snail's pace in this grotty weather and you have put me to shame. I am surprised you had a problem fitting your battery box - mine went together easily. For the brake pipes along the rear axle I used hydraulic hose which doesn't require accurate bends and it looks fine too. It could even be OEM. Good luck with the MOT.

This weather is horrible to be doing these projects in. I don't know whether I was doing something wrong or the seat box has twisted out of shape over the years, but it was a sod. I like the idea of hydraulic hose, a much simpler way.

Take the hard drive out of the dead laptop and buy a usb to sata cable. Then you'll be able to find the photo's that were stored.
