PS not sure about 0xp for mobs, i kind of liked how it was in BG2 where you had xp for monsters, lockpicking and disabling traps etc.

alchemy wasn't too bad. i loved tossing crap together to find out what it made. once made a potion that did as much harm as it did good XD

I find it a bit strange that you don't have to chose at all between your fighting skills or non combat skills.. So, basically, you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, without being specialized in either playing styles? Especially if you're saying that you can avoid combat with these skills or that they're another way to solve them. I understand you shouldn't have to pick either one but shouldn't be there an element that allows you to specialize (or not to)?

Whatever you do please don't add grind like mmo style crafting/gathering!!! BG2 and IWD2 had the crafting simple and cool. If you look at crafting/gathering in Skyrim it ruined the game overall at least for me.
