Impressive animation sequences. I am not sure if the "Lumivore" is a plague caused by the evolution Yosu was seeking accidentally released. Even at the start she was acting like a little bitch. I initially chalked it up to pre-battle nerves but after the 2nd half, it clicked. She was just a whinny brat. Head canon: "We need the best we have for this mission. Where's Agent 7?" "He's still on the run from the last mission he did." "Agent 9?" "Took a GSW to the shoulder, be a week before quickheal fixes him up." "Agent 33?" "Deep cover." "What the hell??! So who have we got left?" "Well, we got that emo girl with that green hair that's nuts in the head and has an authority problem." "Great... bottom of the barrel here."

The production values are really good but I really did not like the Kenzie character. Super annoying. I get what you guys are trying to do by giving her an emotional dilemma, but she doesn't overcome it on her own and acts in a really unreasonable way that makes her seem unlikable and untrustworthy, especially for a mission of such importance.

Infinite kudos to the team who put this together. Incredible amount of work and talent went into creating this, the CGI graphics are 1st rate, character development well thought out, it's all good. Following the storyline gets a bit jagged at some moments, more time for this production could have expanded backstory and supporting characters to fill in those elements, but all said, congrats on a well done production. I'm surprised this hasn't appeared yet on DUST . . . best of luck to you all.

I would have thought their droid friend would have been more important than the scientist, as it had full access to the facility and thus the "neural memory patterns" of it's residents.If I understand the technology, they "imprison" a mind and keep the body in stasis to maintain the torture almost indefinitely. My guess is they made the scientist responsible a deal. "You will be useful, and can continue to conduct your research in the "virtual world" where you can find the answers and not harm any others". It also seems that the disembodied "consciousness" of the people he destroyed are also in this gargantuan virtual world. It's basically a massive consciousness repository. Disembodied people, their bodies destroyed continue to work and serve perhaps not knowing they are no longer in the living world. To say it's extremely unsettling is an understatement. And while the protagonist is a very annoying and disinterested girl, it might be the result of massive trauma from the accident. But the machine did reveal much to her, if she can only retrieve it. So she might be the key.

They are not really torturing him, it was mentioned that it was a roundabout way for them to try "hacking" his secrets by reading his "memories" but it "doesn't work that way", so indirectly the prison was a failure.

Except for the character development, it’s obvious you guys will get much better with time …but the art, photography, set design everything else is top notch. This as a series would have me GLUED to the screen. Just hire a seasoned tv writer, spend enough money for rewrites and IM SURE POSITIVE this will go insanely viral worldwide. You put a lot of effort into this. Technically it is very good, materials, lights, movements, etcetera. But, sorry to say, it is, as a story, as a movie, very underwhelming. You glued a ton of standard action scenes we have seen a thousand times together, without any world building, anything that motivates the audience to follow your story and the characters. This lasts 28 minutes and one won't remember 1 of them. Except for being bored after 2 minutes in, since there is no emotional connection to any of the characters, because they are just hollow drones that no one knows. Except for being annoyed by the supposed heroine who is constantly sabotaging the mission, in a hostile environment, in a live-or-death situation. Scenes that are not making sense - are they visions, dreams, telepathic projections, whatever ? Talking and decision-making during a battle against a superior, deadly enemy. The first scenes are inconsistent, people are running around in a rubble, but are supposed to be annihilated in an explosion that happens - or happened ? You created something, but I think you have to rework it heavily. I don't want to insult you, you are definitely very talented, and very determined. But you need negative feedback. And yes, I know, Chinese movies have a slightly different cinematic language than Western movies. But this movie is not claiming to be that different.

@@Boris_Chang Better writing, better visuals, and being far more creative with less kinda like old Hollywood used to do. yes there is a lot of garbage too. At least we can choose not to watch it but Hollywood makes its and advertises it and tries to SELL it to us even when it is not good. Keep in mind, even if it's on some streaming sites or open air television signals you are paying by having to watch ads to pay for that content. On youtube many of these fan made projects can't profit but KZbin or the original owners get paid and not the Fan who made the content because it's licensed. So doing honor to the source content is hard when you have fewer resources than this large corporations. So yes, it's because of the limitations that makes them better in the end. The amount of folks that are doing fan made content are doing better most often more and more with these limitations making them better than most of the license holders.

Very nice effects, good animation. On a technical level, this is amazing for an indie project. The story however... very disappointing. Makes absolutely no sense and reeks of anime bs. Why does a random kid and a ragtag group of who-knows-who, have access to so much resources and assets? They launched so many rockets and for what exactly? They were waiting for a patrol to do their launch so that they could be spotted and alert the prison that they are coming? What was the point of any of that? Why did the emp barrier thingy affected the aircraft, but not their ground vehicle? Why are they even doing this in the first place? Because some random teenager wants to know who was behind the explosion? Clearly the government caught the perpetrator, so why would she not know who was behind it? Was it made a secret? Why? For what purpose? Entire premise makes absolutely no sense. Then of course the whole anime bs, where two teenagers take out the entire security force of the most advanced prison complex ever? Yeah, right. How do they even have so much intel on the place and at the same time, don't know who was behind the explosion? Why are they even trying to prison break him in the first place? Then there is the whole cliche of narrating everything that they are doing during the launch sequence. Completely unnecessary and it only takes away from the scene. You have the tech locked down, but you might want to hire a different writer. Anyway, good luck with the project.

Upside down actually lol. The STS actually does reentry on it's back before looping over to the nose up posture. Orbital dynamics are weird like that.

@@danielc2701 STS would be on it's back to fire retro thrusters. Then, before hitting the atmosphere it would flip to the slightly nose high, mostly bottom into the relative wind orientation. That's why the heat shield tiles are on the bottom and leading edges.

@@danshelp Yup, like what I said. But the layman would not know about it, so it would look very odd to them to have a ship "flying" upside down in reverse before flipping end to end. Animators would be one of the people that I'd class as "won't know about it". To be fair though, it IS possible to just "dive" in, but your tech would need to be at a really high level to keep the crew intact and unroasted. ICMB's MIRV often come straight into the atmosphere, so it's not the material limitations but the crew limitations. But that is way above an animator's "need to know". lol.

At the point they showed the reentry (25:21) the vehicle should have been in the orientation shown but with the nose pitched up so most of the heating was on the bottom of the vehicle. Shuttle did not enter the atmosphere upside down and backward. It was still in space while in that orientation, and only because the OMS engines were in the rear.

The plot is incomprehensible. What planet? What year? What back story? (That cryptic explosion and trial did not answer anything). What was the scientist trying to do? Why would anyone use a child to do a mission like that (emotionally unstable, strangely strong)? She was annoying in the extreme and repeatedly endangered the mission. Sorry. They spent all their money on fight scenes and none on plot. Two factions are.... who? They don't seem to even know about eachother. Also the tech is all over the place. Why would they need ballistic missiles to get to LEO. Aren't the atmospheric craft able to do that by now? Why risk transporters getting "into position" at great risk when their missiles could cover the distance in about 1 minute and the transporters wouldn't have to schlep along a 1-200kph, easy targets for aircraft. Writers don't know how to write. I don't want the answers to the many, many, many questions. The author clearly isn't good enough to answer them in a way that won't lead to head slapping (like Lost... dummest sci-fi in decades). Big thumb's down. If this was Supposed to be stand alone... it absolutely wasn't. If this was a teaser for other episodes... I wouldn't bother guessing what the author came up with. Strongly suspect it will Not be worth the wait. In my experience, bad writers don't get better.

Very good video quite impressive at times and i`d certainly watch a part two...i did find the girl to be a bit of an idiot though,all her arguing and delays are the reason the guy dies if she had done what he said from the start they`d have been gone before the killer robot(?) even turned up....
