they changed the layout this year to have the two main stages next to each other. the soundbleed wasn't bad at all or non existent for GA. It was just bad if you were in the middle of vip. I think to make it easier on the staff, they just had one vip area. There wouldn't have been an issue if they had the vip sections on the far left for main stage and the far right for pulse. Having the stages like this was great though if you wanted to catch parts of each set. literally was like a 45 second or 1 minute walk. There was way less Art installations and other activities. it was just the 3 stages, some shops, and the video game tent.

highly recommended though. The lineup has been terrific all 3 years, the crowd and people are PLUR af from my personal experience. Plus the metro has started running an extra hour so there's no rush like past years after the fest is over.

Yeah insomniac was probably pressured by dc officials to drastically change the stage layout. Paid for VIP but basically stayed in GA area
