Thanks for the great episode! Small comment or rather question on the emerald tree boa naturalistic enclosure: You do see planted enclosures for emerald tree boas and also green tree pythons a lot in zoos. I wouldn't be aware that there's any great trick to it and it's just a question of the enclosure size. Plants need time to recover after they've been "visited" by a snake of several pounds, and that just doesn't happen in a smaller tank. If you consider the "reptile mass" per volume, lizard enclosures are much less heavily packed than snake enclosures (e.g. a Varanus prasinus weighing 300g and a Corallus caninus with 1500g, the latter having a smaller enclosure size recommendation than the monitor). No wonder snake enclosures don't work with plants...
