I know this is years later and maybe you know this - but it’s because the setting is “high” for your doctors searching for every single symptom when they don’t need to. They need medium level of diagnosis to just get enough to diagnose and treat. Also doctor mode really helps this feature so you can decide to not send every single person that doesn’t need radiology, extra diagnosis etc to those places to avoid overrunning them. I save it for the critical patients, the TC patients, and a couple patients that really need it (ie some of the broken bones needing X-rays)

Omg. I know they’re just simulations in a game but just seeing them holding on to their guts and collapsing makes me pretty stressed. :(

I have a question. I've started playing this game and I've been trying to pass the second campaign in the Doctors dlc. So, I've noticed that there are a lot of patients that have problems with feet. I had to build a lab, because there were any in the pre-made hospital. The problem is other people want to use that lab as well. Do I have to put waiting rooms for every other department? Is it even possible?

When a test is ordered in a hospitalisation setting, the labratory staff seems to go collect the samples (otherwise it's the patients delivering it). Emergency prestige is on that department overview page, bottom left. I think it's complaining as you gave the order for treatment without also telling them to get hospitalized, so it's doing a . Wat now boss when it runs it's checks.

They do yes, we followed a lab dude in an earlier episode who was running a bunch of tests on a hospitalised patient. That giving a treatment without giving the hospitalisation order is anew thing. It used to auto do it but yes seems to have changed so that you have to do it manually now. Will take a little getting used to.
