Really interesting channel! Im really wondering if it's possible to extract the terrain heightmaps from both Project IGI and IGI 2 since im remaking both the games on a newer engine called Enfusion engine, if i had the heightrmaps, i could easly import them into the enfusion engine and remake all the levels, i have already remade 6 of the first levels all located on 1 big terrain, about 100x100 sqk in size.

There are plenty of people who exported heightmaps and imported into Unreal engine with terrains.

Yes its possible but takes lot of effort watch my other video where i imported IGI 1 mission to IGI 2 with help from my dev friends.

@@jones-igi yes but since i like iGi 1 graphics more, and having igi 2 missions it would be much more playable

@@minigamernamangoel3690 I know some devs who can do that convert IGI Missions to other converting Textures and Models but one is gonna do it for Every level it time consuming and error prone. So they keep it as private project. I know my dev friend exported IGI 2 Models into IGI 1 game and vice versa. But nonetheless no one make this as a public service.

If you know how its done i have resources on my Github you can check reading models of IGI structure of MEF,TEX Heightmaps and all then convert them. Otherwise contact some dev in my discord they will help you out.

@@jones-igi aha you're right, i guess secretly everyone loves igi 1 over covert strike I've heard from many others that project IGI is their childhood game. I personally hate igi 2 enemy's and their AI . I wish I could make igi 1 more playable by bringing covert strike missions into it. Like imagine one Entire story in one Game.
