This is actually one of my favorite planes in war thunder I plane on grinding out the rest of the German tree with this thing. When you get a knack for this plane, you become unstoppable

here to help! Stay with your team and climb at around 270 kph Never follow an enemy down, especially spitfires If youre jumped, run away in a dive (But not too steep.) If the fight is inevitable, fight in the dive at high speed and pull up into a slight climb once the enemy loses energy Only dogfight when you can maintain around 350-450 kph. thats the speed i find best Also, watch some videos by a youtuber called GreenFury. His words are like gospel for those wanting to learn the 109s, even if they arent the subject of the video. Hope this helps also also, dont try energy trapping things below 5,000 meters. And dont try that shit with planes designed to perform well at high alt. You can dunk on spits but not p47s

RedJive213 I try to climb to 5000-6000 and I adjust my angle and use Mec to not overheat as much, I do follow his advice and I try to apply it, it does work, but most of the time I just don’t know what to do after a merge, I either pull some maneuver and I bleed all my energy, or I dive and turn but they always end on my six. I just end up getting too slow and they get their guns on me and I don’t know what to do, I have noticed that I have a habit of not pulling away and i end up bleeding all my speed leaving me fat and heavy and dead... and yeah I try to stay in that range but 1 move and it’s down to 200 lol

okay try this. Dont use mec unless you know how to use the supercharger. If you dont know how that probably whats going wrong when in the merge, try climbing away from them at around 5-10 degrees. if they can follow increase to 15. For anything but a spitfire, if you need to, pull into the enemy after the merge in the horizontal, then go into a spiral climb. If you perform better at that alt, make the spiral steeper

Well thats the thing if they over shoot you thrn they must already be going pretty fast. You have to just learn how different aircraft engines work. Most american planes are BnZ while german aircraft dont work that well at slow speeds and low altitude due to them being energy fighters.
