Well done on getting it through its MOT and back on the road, I agree a great car and I much prefer the RR over my Disco3 a different smooth ride experience. I have a similar list with the engine and gearbox to service and suspension bushes. Steering column goes up and down but not in and out, so that was a good tip will give that a try. I learned from the last video on the rear brake shoes, when I had to replace the very old brake caliper and pads there were no brake sensors in place from the previous owner, so they need to be put back in also. Looks like we are on a very similar journey with 2003 Range Rovers!!!

Cheers, and lovely to meet someone else on the same journey. A quick tip re the steering column, mind actually got jammed again so I added a couple of washers and greased the hell out of them, just to prevent the mechanism from over torquing itself again. Touch wood, since then it's been fine!

Hi Conor, I love watching your videos, I have a 2007 2.7 range rover, bought it in july 2023 had it on the road for 2 months and had to replace the arms on the back both sides even though it had just gone through a doe 2 months before I bought it !!😡 only recently put it back on the road, but there is vibration when I get to a certain speed or have to slow down and speed up again, worse when I have a trailer on. The mechanic told me I need to change the transmission oil but I think it might be worse than that. I love the jeep and always wanted one but I think I'm fighting a losing battle. Looking forward to more of your videos and when you get to the last one I'd love to know if you still have it as its a year behind time wise thanks again

Hi Peter, thanks for the note and sorry about your RR woes. How does the vibration manifest itself? They are surprisingly sensitive to transmission oil so it might be worth putting some good quality new oil in there. It's usually not a very complicated or expensive job and it doesn't take crazy amounts of fluid either. Oh, and yes, I still have it so up-to-date updates coming eventually

@ConorTwomey Hi Conor again, so I thought the vibration was coming from the arms on the two back wheels and I did think it had improved after getting my jeep back after it was fixed but it's not, so I don't notice on my local roads, but when I go on our main road and get up to about 90 kilometres a hour it starts to vibrate and shudders as well, but after that it goes fine and drives normal ish. Have to say it's very worrying but hasn't got any worse. Apart from that I'm very happy except from the economy 🫣. I must tape the sound and maybe you could listen to it when your not busy when ever that might be 🤔happy new year, Peter Mayo Ireland
