We've been talking about solutions to that. The base speeds for everything exist as variables that can be edited, but the more important work is to first achieve full functionality and server stability. After that, I'm certain Gwog will take a look at making the tweaks we've discussed. :)

@@AurumVA Personally I like the gameplay to be ‘slow’. It makes me feel in every fight that I'm really there, feeling everything and doing everything my hero does. On the contrary, a faster speed like Predecessor has, everything happens so fast that you miss a lot of things. Being a slower gameplay, you feel and see all the effects of the skills, the sounds of the skills, heroes, everything. But of course, ‘slow’ at the beginning of the game, as time goes by and with the attack speed cards, it will become ‘fast’ in certain aspects.

​@@Malafama2k20 Exactly, it couldn't be explained better. In Paragon you feel that you were that character and you were doing all the action one by one like if this were a single player game. In Predecessor you press all the buttons at the same time and everything happens, with no animation cast times, wait time between abilities or weight in the actions we do, you just press everything and all happens at the same time

Yeah this is crazy. This is not a recreation as Predecessor, this is an actual build of Paragon made by Epic. I'm guessing that somehow they got a build from Epic or decompiled the ancient PS4 disc version because there's no other explanation.

Its because a lot of the Pred community feels like Omeda isn't doing enough to truly make a Paragon successor. This video is getting so much love because its reminded people of so many great Paragon aesthetics that we fell in love with that Omeda has failed to carry on / replicate. We're in 1.1 now for Pred and it still feels like an alpha. This play test of Project Legacy feels more polished than Pred. Just look at the MAP. I know they didn't make it and both Project Legacy and Pred have taken this map from the epic assets but just look at how amazing this looks compared to Preds map. Omeda should have these things locked down by now but we're still playing on the placeholder map which is NOTHING compared to this. Omeda are extremely slow in their development and there is no reasons to why they should be, they have a big team. They are also stockpiling a bunch of content and drip feeding it to us. Not forgetting, which this video has perfectly pointed out, I don't think omeda has actually captured the Paragon aesthetic (And yes it should be trying to because that's what we all fell in love with back in 2016). Those are just a few of the reasons why Pred and Omeda are getting hate and I think it's completely justified.

Wish Predecessor looked half as good as this... In certain ways I do believe it has surpassed legacy Paragon, such as in gameplay and balance, but in looks? The visual quality, fidelity and refinement is very lacking indeed after watching this, and it's a shame Omeda Studios doesn't push in that sense, people would play this game back in the day just for how good it looked, not for its gameplay...

You should implement the last hit mechanic for minion health bars. I've played league, paragon, pred and i personally do fine. But it really is a nice feature whether experienced player or newbie. I also think it's great as an accessibility feature for anybody who might have some sort of disability but can still play video games.

​@timezinfinityX actually, it's simply been unlocked. One of the problems with Legacy was the imbalance cause by only having access to a limited selection of items. You can imagine the current iteration of the shop as a giant "superdeck." No unlock RNG and no going into a match without the tools necessary to compete.

@@Malafama2k20 yeah they took it down lol, guess they was salty that a significant small amount of individuals where able to do something they couldn't do in the years pred has been in development. I've said this before but the I can give pred it's flowers for the gameplay and decent character balance, as of right now visually, in terms of visual affects, sound design, lighting, shading, physics, aesthetic and feel, atmosphere, its Nowhere NEAR paragon level. They where so focused on trying to be original than they missed a huge opportunity to expand on what paragon left behind and start from. Scratch, if I was them I would've did exactly what these creators are doing, and use it to my advantage they already had everything set, the assets the vfx literally everything laid out, but then they decided to do their own thing and give crumbs.

So, this Legacy project is not a recreation from scratch, it is Paragon! But as they said, it has a lot of bugs that need to be corrected and they are doing it. I give thanks for that to those guys/geniuses. I always wanted Predecessor to be like this video, but like you said, they were so focused on being original that they forgot they had everything ready to start from the top and improve. However they decided to go all out and give again (like other projects) crumbs.

First we reach parity with Legacy, then we make tweaks to Legacy to elevate it. For example: the item shop has already been unlocked. Classic card system in place without the polarizing deck restrictions and unlock RNG. Also, Orb Prime dunk functionality is restored, despite being removed prior to v34. These were obvious changes to be made, but smaller tweaks (such as speed, damage calculations, and more) need to wait until the rest of the game is in a stable place and more testers can weigh in.

Predecessor is far from being a bad game. The game could improve in some areas, but being a bad game not one of them. The base is pretty solid and the game has come a long way in two years. My main issue is that they could speed up updates a bit more. I highly doubt you have played much of predecessor or you are a bad player that just has skill issues. Predecessor has made their own original heroes and has improved on everything Paragon every did. I will say Paragon had better graphics, but that is it. Paragon hero kids were terrible and V42 Paragon was a terrible game. Predecessor should move away from a lot of the Paragon assets in the future and implement more map changes.

Yes Pred is a fun game for a while but then you get reminded that youre basically still playing an alpha. Only the heros have got attention.
