Just found this, after I discovered this brilliant trick on my own! You can also use the LetterGlow app (or the one that is advertised in the PL app - name escapes me) to journal on the journaling cards. I'm pretty sure this is all fine for personal use, just don't use it to mass produce the cards or sell them.

This is exactly how I use the app because I like a lot of parts of the kits, but not all. Cool to see someone else using this method. Did you know that you can also convert any card into a 12 x 12 to use as a background? I do that also.

I have been printing digital cards with my photos. They look great! No difference from paper. The only drawback is when you add text to the digital card. The text tends to have a blurred look. Best thing is to try it for yourself and see if you like the quality... its a personal choice.

You are BRILLIANT!! What a great idea! I was going to ask you if you could explain the PL app a little more. I hesitated to get it cuz I didn't see how it work with individual pics. I thought it was specifically for designing 12x12 layouts only. This is such a cool idea for those of us who do not have many kits already.

Not sure if you've thought of this, but if you put a colored background one with a white or light one, it will make the delineation much easier.

Once you got them in your albums how did you feel the cards looked compared to paper ones? I have been making my pages in the app in order to stay caught up but when I print them my plan is to cut the pages apart and stick them into regular pocket pages. I'm concerned that I won't like the way the cards look printed as photos.

***** I think I planned to cut them apart because I don't like how purely digital pages look flat. I love how I can make pages anytime anywhere, with the app, & if I wait for a sale to print the pages I have probably spent the same as printing the pictures and buying the cards. I have 12x12 page protectors so I could put the pages in them & if I get around to cutting them, great, if not at least the pages are done. One benefit to leaving them as a 12x12 is that you don't have to worry what design you used for the previous page that it will be back-to-back with.
