It’s a huge deal here in the US. It’s one of my favorite holidays because who doesn’t want to dress up and eat candy⚡️ We get up to 200 kiddos here so we decorate as much as possible!

Adele, in my neighborhood we get 500 + trick-or-treaters! Yes ... over 500. Kids are literally bused in by the van load and come up to the house in groups of sometimes up to 20 at a time! We live in a nice neighborhood with flat streets (no hills) and houses close together so the kids can cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. 😄 All of the neighbors decorate their houses for Halloween. And the kids that come to our houses are, for the most part, nice, polite, and respectful. So it's a fun evening for everyone.

Last year was our 1st Halloween in our new home. We decked the entire downstairs with cobwebs, spiders, lots of goodies. When the neighbours went trick or treating we had the window open with a smoke machine and music playing like "Ghostbusters and Triller". it was truly amazing! Love your theme!! Might have to steal this idea for this years theme. Another fabulous layout Adele. xx

I used to decorate but for the last 10 years or so everyone goes to my youngest daughters in-laws. One of her brothers-in-law made a "train" out of large water barrels and it is all decked out with lights and music and all the grandkids ride around the neighborhood trick or treating. This year costumes are similar to last year as the kids have been into superheros.

I absolutely love Halloween! My mother used to dress up as a witch in the front yard. A really scary witch and she had a cauldron you had to put your hand through the smoke of the dry ice to get your candy. I don't dress up but I do have a fire pit and the neighbors come and sit in our driveway ( we live in a cul-de-sac) and we all give out the candy together as we get a chance to visit with each other. I love Halloween for the same rwason you do, a great reason to dress up. Have a fun Halloween!

We live in a small neighborhood with few kids but I love to give out treats to the few we have. This year I think I might go as Wonder Woman (weather permitting) and go trick or treating with my friend and her kids.

Where I live they do a trunk or treat down at the local park. Everybody parks their car around the parking lot and hand out treats out of their trunks. It is usually cold here and the kids get done quickly.

Our adult party is a dinner party based upon the characters in the Clue board game. I use all of the colors from the characters and base the food items upon the colors as well: Mr. Green's Gruesome Green salad, Miss Peacock's Blue Cream Soda Possibly Poisonous Punch, Prof. Plum's Plum Sauce and Pork Kabobs, Mrs. White's White Rice and Deadly Black Beans, Col. Mustard's Cannonball Meatballs and Mustard Sauce, etc. Fun, Fun! Center piece is the actual board game which we play with dessert: Miss Scarlet's Who Done It Red Velvet Cupcakes! Have fun!!!

Of course we do Halloween (Utah, USA) , but mostly just get into it with the grandbabies. I decorated the house with banners and pumpkins, not scary though, and I helped them decorate their pumpkins for the front porch. Since I work from home, I don't have a costume this year - but the little ones are Mario (Mario Bros), Duck (from Sarah & Duck), a fox, and a Hotel Transylvania character.

My entire life revolves around halloween! We have a full size skeleton, named Tony, who gets diffrent outfits for diffrent seasons/holidays!! The spooky decor just matches my style so why not have it around me all year lol

Ha My Heidi Swapp stickers are the same way! I had to use them up they drove me crazy and they ripped a lot too when I tried to take them off the sheet. Love those bright enamel dots and puffy stickers. I don’t usually dress up but last year my hub and I both did. It’s mostly for the kids and yes we decorate the house and try to get to the pumpkin patch every year. Kids are still young so we will see how that goes as they get older.

Halloween is HUGE here! America is all about consumerism and excess... So it's a perfect holiday for us. lol. The best part is that there is not age limit! I already have about 3 costumes picked out for the different events I'm going to... None of which will involve children. Halloween is my favorite holiday. FOR SURE.

Not particularly huge where I live, however we have had Defence Force peeps from US who have gradually brought in Trick or Treating. This year my son wants to go as a Pizza slice (Kmart) and be "Pizza Steve" from Uncle Grandpa (TV Show) and my daughter is desperate to find a yellow raincoat so she can go as Georgie from "It".... I think.....still lots of time for them to change their mind.

Nina Cox sadly not close at all 😭 we’re having huge dramas with the internet company as they say our address is an invisible black spot and can’t get internet...even though the outside portion of our national broadband network is installed... they’ve set a time to come and inspect the house to see what they can do but that’s not until Oct 30!!!! Aaron and I have already gone through an extra $100 each on our phone data in just the last week 😭😭😭😭 I have some videos I need to upload later this week so think we’ll have to go steal some family internet, with Archie cuddles used as bribery of course 🤣😜😝

I love it! Halloween is such a fun holiday. I've decided to do an October Daily this year just to document more of it. We always have a little costume party, we had a poll for the theme this year, and "magic" was chosen. I thought of being Trelawney as well, but think I may just end up being a more generic fortune teller. Though I could certainly get my hair to do that... The snitch idea is wonderful. Huge here. My mom has 200-300 kids trick or treat night. My kids are Star Wars characters but we are doing a pirate theme for our trunk or treat. Is that popular in Australia??? What will Archie be? Can't wait to see those layouts! Love the HP stuff!

This year we probably won’t be dressing up, but we have a Halloween party every second year so next year we will need to come up with a fun trio idea 😊 I may stumble across something halloweeny and cute in a bargain shop here between now and Halloween and HAVE to buy it to get a pic of Archie teehee! Trunk or treat is when a group of people or an organization like a church gathers in a parking lot for instance and opens their car trunks to pass out candy. Each car trunk is decorated as a different theme. Check out Pinterest or Google it will give you an idea of what I'm talking about and it's so much fun to do also sometimes a safer way to gather candy than going door to door. Yes I understand completely about the costume although I think Archie would make an adorable rabbit and of the photos with the bunnies! Some of my favorite of my boys are the ones in their first costumes.I hope you guys have an great holiday!

Halloween is bigish where I am (I know in the States it is much bigger but it is still really celebrated) I have no kids but my dog gets a costume every year. I love Halloween mostly because (as you said) it is a great excuse to dress up and I love dressing up and it isnt really socially acceptable most days! This year I am creating a Jelly Fish costume because I was at Cirque Du Soliel in Mexico and saw ones similar and thought they were so cool...so that is the goal. I have all the pieces, just need to begin assembly

Halloween is my most favorite holiday and I love to dress up. I will be dressing up for work at Lucille Ball from the 50's sitcom "I love Lucy". Not sure if my kids will dress up this year. They are 19 and 17 so they may think they have outgrown it to which I say...NEVER!!

No we do not have American stile Halloween here in the Netherlands. We have like you a sort of Halloween party's. We have Sint Maarten then children go and sing with a lantern at the doors and get candy.
