3:30 old school methods 😄 I used bread on my old m20 and m50 cranks, An old mechanic advised me to try that if i did'nt have a slide hammer, I was surprised when it worked

Great build (coming from a BMW mechanic and fanatic) just a quick note I'd recommend swapping that breather filter over to the later style Vortex filter as it's fit and forget, it's good that you have done it with a new part but unless your swapping it every 12 months I've seen to many problems from turbo failure to blown crank seals, the later style filter is available aftermarket febi do them for half the BMW price. Keep up the great work enjoying this build 👍

Thanks for you support, really appreciate it. Ah ok thanks for that advice i wasn't aware you can fit the later type. Will change it out in a year or so, so the one i fitted does completely go to waste. cheers, ollie

Don’t suppose you’d have the link to that adapter for the air filter you were talking about? Sounds like just the thing I’ve been looking for!

Cool conversion - BUT the YT "Happy music" is hard to stand. Problem is: When I mute I cannot see when you start to talk

Love the videos, read the article about the ls3 defender and wished you made videos for that one as id love to be able to do that conversion one day. How hard was it and how much do you reckon someone could do it for?
