Well done on the Ambient Palette! They really take so long to use. So expensive but I think this makes them worth the money. I also wouldn't buy a full-size blush if a mini version was available because they take me so long to use up! I love panning the Sephora perks. So cute how you said BILL Nye powder instead of BEN Nye powder! The science guy vs the makeup guy! lol

Thank you! Minis are surprisingly difficult to go through. I think the Hourglass 6 pans are worth but not the 3 pans. Oop I always refer to the powder as Bill Nye on accident haha.

Thank you! It's crazy how 4 years went by so fast haha. When I was younger, I really wanted kids but my husband didn't. Now I'm okay without but he wants them. We agreed that it's okay to just have one in this economy :')

Thank you! I have tried putting the sunscreen on top of the face base and it somehow feels worse. I've swapped to using a setting spray with SPF for now :)

Just found your channel and i love it!! I really want to size down my makeup collection as i've been buying it impulsively since my 1st job (2018), declutter a few times a year and still feel overwhelmed by the amount i have

Aww I feel you. I also got my first full time job in 2018 and having a steady income made it easier to impulse buy. I went on a low buy for 2 years after realizing how much makeup I was buying. It's also easier to go on a low buy rather than a no buy right away if you do a beauty bank :) Good luck! I hope you'll have a collection you enjoy and feel comfortable with :)

You could try using the hourglass highlighter as an eyeshadow topper to help use it up maybe

Ok, i have one of the hourglass pallettes. Ive only had it for one year, and was tempted to buy the one for this year. But now that i know how long it takes, i definitely don't want to. Im sure after 4 years, ill want to try something new.

It's definitely worth the price! I did run out of the highlighter and bronzer much more quickly though. Surprisingly I do want another Hourglass palette, but I want to work through my current collection first :)

If you use the Bobbi brown moisturiser as your moisturiser, why not use it under your spf instead of top?

The moisturizer is thicker than my SPF and I prefer to layer my products from thinnest to thickest :)
