Project Pan 2025 Intro

I discovered the project pan concept in October 2023 and selected my oldest cream products to start. I learned so much doing the project including how long it takes to use up products! I was able to finish my three oldest lipsticks one at a time over the past 15 months by using them multiple times a day. But the fourth went bad last month when I was almost finished so I tossed it. I worked on my oldest cream blush and finally decided it was too cool for me, so I tossed it because it was too old to give away. That was difficult to do. I was able to use up three eyeliners that were aging but much to my dismay I discovered in December that the two from Sephora that I purchased two years ago when I visited the US had dried out and I'd never used them! I'd been waiting to use up the older ones. Also, in December I realized I needed to be focusing on my Elf Halo Glow because it had turned two years old and was still almost unused. Much to my dismay it smelled fermented, so I had to throw it away. The whole experience showed me I was being wasteful and that I need to do a no buy for 2025 and focus on using what I have. In the fall when the holiday sales happen, I will buy a few new products, and I feel I will be a much smarter shopper. No more hopping on the newest thing while products sit unused in my makeup drawer.

That lip gloss looks so pretty on you! I've been wearing mostly lip gloss + lip liner lately, but I'm worried my lipsticks will go bad so I need to get more use out of them this year. I just picked up the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer, and so far I'm loving it. It took my 2 years to finish my last concealer, so I don't think I have ANY CHANCE to get this one done in 2025. I might be able to finish my Haus Labs concealer, because I've been working on that one for a while, but we'll see.

Both concealers you mentioned are great. Hope you enjoy them. Lipsticks are very hard to finish. They usually go bad before that. It is what it is 🥲 i love glosses now as well
