Yay to the new empty! If you do your own nails, you could try using the eyeshadows/powder blush as nail polish. I do this sometimes when my progress seems too slow for me 😂

I used to find a hairband or rubber band help with Rimmel powder compacts, especially if I needed to carry them around. I’ve stopped buying them because of the rubbish packaging. I also find the nars multiple looks great on the lips when topped with a sheer brown gloss, so you may want to try that to help use it up 😊

why do rimmel keep doing this terrible packaging? I know it's cheap but if it's putting people off from buying their stuff again it's a huge loss 😔

It’s because rimmel makes refills! That’s a refill i think, there should be a hole in the back to pop the pan up, but the problem is i think they stopped selling the main one, when i was younger they used to sell metal package and then the plastic refill

@@Hi_imzeelda refills haven’t been sold in well over 20 years, and the rubbish packaging has been there since my teens and I’m 48 now!

I mean, I'm not miserable, this is makeup we're talking about 😂 I paid for something so I prefer to use it up before buying something new. I'll make a better purchase the next time around.

In the defense of using something you don’t love in my experience I’ve learned EXACTLY why I dislike a product in general and really learn a lot more about myself and what I’d like in the future. This is in regards to my clothing and food and has helped me in so many ways I mean if it broke me out though or something it would be a different story Just good for thought

Absolutely agree! In a different time I would have discarded it after a couple uses without knowing exactly why I don't like something, only to make the same mistake and buy something similar again. Now I know exactly what doesn't work for me and I avoid all products with that effect, shade or formula because I know it doesn't work. I only would have understood that by giving a product a fair chance and "forcing" myself to use it. Attempting to pan it and finish it is a matter of getting the most out of the money I paid and reduce product waste.
