1. Phantasia, the game's main theme and leitmotif. 2. First Steps, the tutorial, where the game lets the player move the protagonist around town and towards the secret forest hideout. 3. Altar of the Sword, the room where the story begins, where the protagonist would end up pulling out a talking sword named Arthur. 4. A Voyage on the Winds of Change, where the protagonist leaves their island home alongside their sister Aisling towards the mainland alongside a Knight named Rolant and where the game's first chapter starts. 5. Rohkeutta Etsiä, serves as the main combat theme for most encounters in the game, with various remixes to suit the area they are in. It even echoes whenever the player enters a cave. 6. Ivory Flowers, the theme of the Capital of Marble, where the protagonist learns about the legend of a sword that could vanquish evil and the possibility Arthur is linked to it. 7. Outer Bygone Ruins, the game's first dungeon, where the trio would venture into the Myria Ruins and meet the first signs of an evil known as Regulus. 8. Spiral into the Abyss, the theme of Aquaria's underworld, and the setting for where the player learns they aren't a Savri and that Regulus is tied to Arthur. 9. Wandering Breeze, the leitmotif of the party's fourth member Fanny, the nickname of a girl would moves as freely as the wind. If the player does some sleuthing, they can learn her full name is Florene de Annalise, which unlocks additional dialogue options at camp and even a new subclass for her. 10. Mystic Nebula, the 4th dungeon of the game, takes place in a temple on the peak of Midil, the tallest point in all of Alferra. The boss, the Waking Mind, is very hard because of its immunity to most Phantasms while it is in one of its two phases it can switch between. Thankfully, players eventually realize that Aisling is very strong against it because she's a Savri and doesn't rely on Phantasms. 11. Iris, the theme of a pivotal moment in the game. The protagonist would release Arthur from their curse, and he would join the party as their 7th member. Players would come to endear him from this point forward, as they would learn he is a chivalric goofball but also learn of his rather tragic backstory with Regulus and a girl named Iris. 12. Half-Asleep in the Middle of Bumfuck Nowhere, is the theme of Regulus. Many people did not expect the sudden shift when they reach Regulus's final form. Like Waking Mind, he too makes using Phantasms against him very hard, though he doesn't nullify them like Waking Mind. If you switch Arthur in during the fight, you get extra in-battle dialogue. 13. The Traveller, is the theme of the protagonist. It only plays when you choose the right dialogue options while fighting Regulus. This is how players found the true ending of the game as each time they made the right choice, the theme begins to overtake the boss's. 14. Childhood Memories. The game's credit song. It features a montage of various things that happen after the game's main story. If you watch till the end, you can see Arthur paying tribute to an unmarked grave. Many players theorized this to be either Regulus's or Iris's. The game was well received by critics, but like most JRPGs, did not reach mass audiences. The cult following it did received loved it dearly, and many hoped to see a sequel sometime in the future. Many also hope the game would eventually release more soundtracks, as they love the game's music and wished more of the game's music would be available soon.

But i always have a soft spot in my heart for grand symphonic pieces like this. Amazing work all around. Visuals, composition, playing. Everything. First Steps in particular really floored me. Such a warm set of melodies, and changes. It took me on a journey similarly to the old greats, but with a very modern and folk inspired twist. And then i got jump scared by Altar of the Sword 😂

A couple of days after this first released my best friend sent me a link to this video after the algorithm threw it at her. I saw cute girl image, saw it was a music album, figured I'd give it a try. Little did I know what magic I was about to get myself into. I ended up listening to the album 4 times in less than a day, and it singlehandedly elevated my Christmas. All of you from the musicians, the singers, the digital artists, you all nailed it out of the park with this one. I'll repeat what I said to my friend and on Bandcamp, that this album feels nourishing to the soul. Thank you all for the hard and wonderful work you put into making this happen. PS. What's the language that's used in the first song, Phantasia? Is it a real one or a faux one made for the song? It sounds very familiar, but not at the same time.

I clicked because of the cute art, not really reading the title at first. But as soon as Track 5 got on, something about it really spoke to me. Feels like really hopeful song from the start of an adventure, reminding me of the Atelier Series, Chrono Trigger, and Mystery Dungeon in some ways. Thank you for the work!
