I think I have some good advice for Bandori! I have been playing since 2021 so I can try and help! :D - Look in the right top corner of your screen and their is a button with 3 LINES - Hit that and click the "Options" button - In Options you can change the Live settings. Meaning you can adjust note size, note speed, sound adjustment, note transparency, combo counter, effects & sound, and most importantly the live theme settings. You can adjust these settings to your liking so there isn't really and correct way to set them up. In Live Theme Setting here you can adjust the lane design, tap affects, and event live background which is I think just the music videos and 3D performance backgrounds. Now when you scroll down you will see something that says "NOTE." Here, you can change the note design! The notes that say "Type5" and "Type7" are the closest similar to the notes in Project Sekai so that should help you a lot! You can change the design of the flick notes also but that doesn't really matter. - In "SYSTEM SETTINGS" you can change the background music and how loud it is along with the special affects sound and voice volume when in lives. So if you don't wanna hear them talking over the music, you can turn that down all the way, along with the sound of the special affects. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Now, to increase your band power, you have to use "AREA ITEMS." Depending on the band you are using these items will be extremely useful when it comes to scores and the prizes you win each time you do a live. To locate the "Posters and Flyer" area times you are gonna go to the map icon, click "CiRCLE," and go to "Shop." Here, you can purchase area items for different bands. To purchase these items you are gonna have to collect coins which you get from lives! To level these items up you are going to need coins put also "Shards." Shards come in different colors depending on what you are upgrading. To collect these stars you are also going to have to do lives or go to "Michelle Sticker Exhange" which is also located in the icon with the three lines. You earn Michelle Stickers by selling duplicated members you get from the gacha or from events. - Other area items like the instruments are located at "Edogawa Music." These play a good part in upgrading your band power so make sure to use them! To see which band they come from you have to click on purchase and the description should say, for example, "RAISE A SUILEN members set a 2.5% boost to all Stats," "Pastel Palletes members get a 4% boost on all Stats", etc. Using members from the same band is recommended but you can also mismatch it with members of higher rarity. If you do this thought you have to use the "Everyones Keyboard, Everyones Posters, etc. I think you get it. I'm gonna assume you know how rarity works in this game since Project Sekai has the same system? However, if you don't I'll just simplify it. - 5 Star Members (Recommended) - 4 Star Members (Recommended) - 3 Star Members (Recommended but kinda medium power. Good if put with 5 Star Cards or 4 Star Cards) - 2 Star Cards (Can use but won't be too useful. So not quite good) - 1 Star Cards (Not useful) I'm not gonna explain Gacha or Stars since it's pretty self explanatory lmao. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ For the whole "Band" button I'm gonna keep this pretty simple also! Considering I wrote a lot. - EDIT BAND: Can use to edit your band to make it even more stronger. Putting the RARITY or POWER order is recommended so you can see what to use. - TRAINING: Hit practice and use studio tickets to upgrade your cards! This will make them stronger and give you better Band Power. 4 Star and 5 Star cards have to be leveled up to 60 while 3 Star cards are only leveled up to 50. - COSTUMES: Self explanatory also but when you pull on the Gacha and get a new character you also acquire a new costume! Your gonna want to hit "LIVE2D" to set the costume on. You can use 3D also but 2D is recommended for the chibi characters you see on stage during Lives. - CHARACTER RANK: Useful tool also! You can use this to upgrade a characters Performance, Technique, and Visuals. You don't have to like constantly upgrade it everytime the character levels up. You can if you want too though! Now "LIVE BOOST." It's that little fire icon above your stars in the right top corner of the screen. These Live Boost are very useful during events and give you more event points depending on which option you press. They double the rewards too! I recommend saving these up until an event is happening but you can spend them anytime you want! They always recharge themselves or you can do it with stars or those boost drinks. - Anyways I think I did absolutely too much yap in one comment section. I’m an old bandori player for how many years idk… and a since beta Project sekai player. Really love both game. Bandori covers and originals are magnificent and majestic if not the best among the idol rhythm games. The charting is great. Not the hardest or complex nor the easiest either. Basically a solid game for those anime enjoyers that want to get to know what a rhythm game is. Project Sekai covers are cool. But if you haven’t listened to any songs in Bandori, Pjsk have that best title. Their Original might be on par with Bandori. But considering Bandori has a lot of original because of course… it’s been there first. I would give it to Bandori. However, Pjsk charter team never like NEVER show mercy on their players when it comes to complex patterns in their chart. So if you’re up for the challenge, Pjsk is the best. Both games have multiplayers and stuff… the only difference is that Pjsk has rankings and also a Virtual Live concert. And yeah that’s it I guess…
