Good to see you earlier, mate. Great video . I'm definitely a run to feel merchant .I rarely, if ever, look at my watch during a run , infact I quite often forget to stop it ,even at races😂

Nice vlog mate 👍 With the question about easy paces, it sounds as though the coach you mentioned was quoting the MAF heart rate calculation. I've tried that in the past but didn't stick with it for too long. The rates are very low for older runners, and as you pointed out, the terrain has an effect, amongst other things. I have heart rate alerts on my watch, letting me know when i go into zone 3, using Garmin's estimated zones. I choose whether to ignore or act upon the alerts depending on the goal for the run.
