I'll admit it, I do like a good will it run video. Mainly to see the steps taken to get it running. There's a young guy with a channel called 2vintage and all he really does is buy bikes (and other vehicles) and get them running in his garage. Somehow he's been able to get nearly 500,000 subs. It's pretty impressive. We need to get Brickhouse to 500,000 and beyond.

BJ love you love the channel, I definitely appreciate the resto vids I think the trouble with them and KZbin is they are somewhat of a commitment as a viewer, there multiple videos from beginning to end and viewers seem to want to see completion in 1 video, that would be my guess, I still believe your audience would like to see the series since it seemed like you grew a ton with those builds but it's KZbin and it's an algorithm at the end of the day. As for the honda challenge bikes ---- I had a '71 honda 350 cl which was about 150 lbs overweight for off road. True, it was the brightspot in my day at the time, but that's not saying much. I got a new '74 Norton 850 Commando (kickstart,) and transed into a stud. True story. Well, anyway I felt like a stud. BTW if I had had any business skills I would still be riding that Norton.

You are spot on correct when the viewers demand "more, more more." However, you know the wise thing is to meet your personal and business obligations first and then move along when time, energy and money permit. BTW: The Kerker set you desire is probably sitting on someone's shelf 200 miles away from you. Don't go looking at foreign sources for domestically made products. Vintage guitar buyers find that out frequently--the hard expensive way.

I agree with the others. KZbin will burn you out fast, audiences are fickle. Anyone can make a will it run video, I watch your channel because of the quality and the learning I get from what you do. I personally would be disappointed if you started doing ´will it run videos´- there is only so much of those I can take! I watch you avidly because you are different, and your content stands out and you have integrity. You are right, you must make good business decisions for YOU. Not for your audience and most importantly you must be enjoying what you do. That is the most important thing. You give a lot and maybe we don't give enough back. I'm thinking. Sorry you got scammed, don't beat yourself up, there are bad people out there who prey on good people. Relish in the fact that you are one of the better people out there! Congrats on what you do and how you do it, don't live or work for views. Stay true to what you are and want. There are already more than enough 'will it run' videos.... man don't go there! Growing and maintaining a channel is hard work for sure. Harder then most people think. I’ll watch anything you post. Brick House Builds is my favourite channel by far. I wear my hoodie on a regular basis! There’s tons of stuff on KZbin, most of which I can’t relate to. What reeled me in with BHB was you did all this with the same tools I have in my garage. Anyone can build cool stuff when they have a multimillion dollar budget. You made me realize I can actually go out in my garage, and tear into my old 1986 VFR750 that was left for dead, and in a couple weeks and about $40, I actually drove it around my subdivision. I would have never tried that had I not found you on KZbin. So my advice is to keep it real, keep doing what got you here. You build cool stuff, you keep the budget realistic, and you prove it can be done with normal tools.

Hey BJ mate sorry you got scammed. I'm here in Brisbane Australia just one hour away from where you bought some parts for a previous project. Mate I too have been scammed, I wanted a grab rail for my 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100, and lost my coinage. Mate Australia was a honest country before, but now we have a influx of immigrants that have totally changed our relaxed honest life style. It absolutely saddens me because my 12 year old Daughter won't get to experience what growing up was like for me. We have a growing population of people who like to work in 7/11s. I'm not painting them all with the same brush because some them are good people but they come here don't like our laws and have a air off arrogance about themselves thinking somehow they are better than others. Anyways I know I'm preaching to the choir as I see your country has a shocking immigration problem right now, well maybe that will hopefully all change in November for you guys when the real President is re elected.

We see your issue quite a bit on YT. Someone with passion starts a channel and wants to share the details of their hobby/interest with a wider audience. Once the channel gets going the content creator sees that people only want entertainment. The content creator then has to make a choice. He or she can make entertainment videos in the vein of those hobbies/interests and be successful or make informative videos about those hobbies/interests. Maybe choose the former, have fun with it and occasionally take a moment to appreciate the life it enables for you. Either way I'll probably still be here watching you guys living that vintage bike lifestyle. 🤘🤘

Love the channel and all the content. As an Aussie I’m pissed and ashamed you got scammed. I haven’t heard that happening before but I guess it happens everywhere😒

Just an FYI, due to the dead internet theory coming to fruition, make sure the analytics you're are using aren't filled with Bot traffic data and you end up turning off your real viewers. That being said, we know you have to eat, so you do you.

go be hooligans with the challenge bikes. i'll watch it if you make a vid, but if you just wanna have fun and not bother making it into content? - do that instead, live your life, have your fun.

Yes to the adventure challenge bikes. Please give us the coversion tech as well as the whoops. For example what you do about suspension.

I'm doing a similar CL360 dirt build so I'd love to see what you do with the 48 hour challenge bikes.
