Just as a confirmation, measure to the lower control arm attachments since they locate the wheels. 3/8" out of position for the top of a shock is negligible but I get your concern but I don't think it will affect your "sleeper" engine compartment. You have good analytical skills, a little OCD perhaps, and attention to details but sometimes you have to fudge. Good build, I enjoy watching the development. If we were closer (I'm in Texas) I would have you cut up my S10 chassis.

I could definitely measure those but they will be completely cut off to mount the mustang k member. I will be using the mustang control arms that bolt to the k member so at this point it doesn’t matter. The location of the wheels will be only dictated but where I mount the k member and upper strut mount. Definitely a touch ocd but besides it costing me time it hasn’t failed me yet lol 😂
