Class of 2018 here. When i was in Highschool, this movie was already a couple years old, but luckily, the 2010s party culture was still present to a certain degree. When i was a sophomore, I was invited to a house party of one of our seniors. Ofc, it wasn't even close of being that wild like in the movie, around 50 people came, but oh boy, did we party hard. Wrecked the poor guys house. And yes, this song was still an anthem.

God this fucking song makes me feel such a type of way. Such a wave of nostalgia for stuff that doesn’t even feel like it’s happened yet. Not to mention that it’s a remix of one of my already favorite songs of all time. It’s one of the most freeing and well produced party songs ever made. We had cell phones so we could coordinate pretty easily but they didn't take pictures (thank god) so no hard evidence only stories and memories. Our legendary party was Pool Party; The Original lol then since we still had a whole keg left and 3 gallons of real cheap whisky we had Pool Party part 2 (the revenge) the next night. It was out in the sticks so no neighbors to hassle us. Friends band played live cranked to 11. It was a trip.
