ok, im subbed, i just realized iv seen vids on your green xj before, bummer it was rusted out. so heres my question, how did you shop down south for your XJ? im looking for another one for my son. theres a guy here in michigan that sells southern XJs but he wants too much $$$$.

thanks for subscribing! I found this one through Copart, actually. I have a broker I met through the XJ preservation society FB group. Like mentioned in the video, it was only $1,000 ($1,550 after copart and broker fee) it was a clean title, donation, listed as no odometer and mechanic damage. The carfax stopped at 138k in 2016 and it looked like it had been sitting- sure enough it had 138k and was sitting. Also keep an eye on facebook marketplace. Rust free XJs are hard to find! It’s sort of luck of the draw.

@@2JZBobby thanks, yeah they are getting hard to find for sure, my white one in my avatar is rustfree from tennessee. man 1550.00$ is a steal!!!!!!!! that price in michigan will get you a rusted out pos with 250k miles.
