hyped for the new series, this is gonna be fun :) i know you already picked a base location and there are some episodes already recorded, but i recently found a house that has an actual greenhouse in the garden. its on the western waterfront in louisville, 3 houses south of the destillery / gas station. it even has wired fences and a fireplace in the livingroom and might be a great spot for a future outpost.

Its too encumbering and not likely needed for weeks if not months, so its far from urgent. Books are very easy to find at libraries and book stores, so they're not rare at all

When looking at tutorials for this game it looks like there's only a few maps. Like the settings showed 4 kentucky maps and that's it. Unless I'm missing something. How do maps work? Is there enough to choose from to not be really limited? Thanks.

There is the normal map which is actually all of the cities connected to one another ( Riverside, Westpoint, Muldraugh, Rosewood, Dixie, Louisville and Valley Station ) as well as some other challenge maps. map.projectzomboid.com/ more info.

The instant winter hits...the Zombie apocalypse ends absolutely everywhere that it gets to freezing or below. Zombies would freeze completely solid immediately. Their body temperature is the ambient temperature at all times. As soon as it drops to freezing, they're bricks. Anywhere else in the world where it never drops to freezing, they'd mummify or decompose within weeks at the most due to the excessive or thoroughly lacking humidity.

do you think the developers would ever add other humans to this game? like a companion you can find who can help u do stuff in the base? or a pet? or bandit/raiders? who can attack your base to raid supplies and can shoot at you with guns? or are there mods that do this? imagine if u play against an ai group who build their own base and over time, they also start building defences & looting nearby buildings, so u have more urgency to decide whether to loot near them to slow their progress but risk being attacked or to stay clear & hope to avoid them for as long as possible etc.. you might end up trying to raid their base or set up ambushes or pick them off sniping one by one... or maybe reading some books on diplomacy allowing you to trade and have less hostile relations but they are still taking resources from the local area.. it could lead to many many choices & decisions & different outcomes.

@@Rhadamant id love to see a 3d open world version of this game rather than isometric.. i love how much stuff this game has, how detailed it is... much better than most survival and zombie games.. id just rather see it better graphics & 3d like dayz or 7 days to die or fallout4.. i find isometric games kinda tiring to play nowadays now im old.. i used to like them back in the 90s.. baldurs gate, fallout 1&2.. constantly having to click the mouse to move and attack and not being able to see behind things is annoying.. at least some isometric games let u move the view around in any direction so u can see behind buildings etc.
