With a weight lifted off their shoulders after stopping what could have been a horrible situation with the serum device, the team is now left with one last task: confronting Deb and figuring out if she really did kill Wes, and for what purpose. While the hope is that she'll be straight-forward with them, and truthful, there is a large level of tension between them now. Will what she says be acceptable? And more importantly, how does this change Project 863 going forward?

So even if Deb wanted to trigger the RSD to go off, Subjects 1,2 and 3 won't hear it or be alerted. Heck, matt might destroy everything to do with project 863. If one of the earlier comments is true and Matt is being controlled by Nelson, then he's gonna destroy everything to make sure no one interferes again like Wes did. But look where he ended up after trying to stop Nelsons experiments himself........

After watching this, I'm calling it now: Matt's under Syphus's control. He didn't take the antidote when he saved Sam & Woods, thus he was exposed, rendering him susceptible to Syphus's control. It also explains why he wouldn't listen to Deb or try to understand things from her point of view. Granted, I don't condone the secrets Deb's been keeping from everyone, but Matt seemed too eager to cut all contact with Deb. I noticed that Woods & Sam still wanted to give Deb some benefit, and were upset with Matt smashing the server. While they got a dose of the serum, too, they got the antidote, keeping them out of Syphus's clutches. Even if Matt thinks Project: 863 is dead, as long as one of us, Subject 4, stays true to our goal of aiding Deb and bringing down Syphus, the project won't ever truly be dead. We must stand together, as one, and support Woods & Sam, as well as be supportive of Matt while he's under the serum's influence. We are Project: 863, and we WILL bring down Syphus and the remnants of Syntec. Also, I'm fully aware this is staged, I am simply very passionate about this series. Keep up the great work, guys, loving the series and can't wait for season 3!

I agree. With how Deb said there's others to help, including Matt, I think Matt is going through the same journey as Ben did. But when Ben was "fired", Matt basically became his replacement. And we have no idea how many more Phantoms there are out there, Ben can't have been the only one. Kinda creates an imagination in my mind about a version of sleeper agents But we'll have to wait for season 3 to see what's true or not

See, I'm following the story, but some of the logic that I see, Deb's questions don't truly show us who she is, like what she has to offer to them, to help them, but there's also more time within now and the next season release, so there might be more that happens from now till then, some that need the editing, and some might be raw footage, not all is lost, and more is to be shown, I can see where the story is going. As my one teacher told me, when I was in school, "the stories of everyone doesn't stop, there's a path that everyone follows, some choose it, others ignore it. Your story never ends, it only makes a new chapter" and I've seen that, I lost my neighbor last year, and that was hard, he was religious, and I've taken some of what he has said to me, and I've helped people near me with it. But our stories are never ending, I don't mean to sound similar to Deb, but when I write, I put thought into every word, and for me having like 6 stories that I've written, not published, but my friends, and people who I trust with it, like them, and are always waiting for the next chapter, next paragraph, next sentence, and even the next word. Our lives hold mysteries, but each day, one mystery is solved, while another is discovered.

I think that his behavior at the end was symbolic of something. Him taking a bat and smashing their only means of communication to D3b immediately reminded me of when the phantom smashed the apple II. Maybe this is symbolic of where his character is headed in the future???

I'm so... WOW! I can't describe it. And while I think destroying the server was a bad idea, I do get where Matt is coming from. I would get tired of feeling like I was being controlled or lied to from every angle. This season was amazing, had a couple odd moments, but nothing that was too ridiculous. I'm so hyped for season 3! Also props to everyone working on this. You're all doing amazing!
